Project History of the IFRS Taxonomy 2015


 

  • 18 March to 31 March 2014 - the IFRS Foundation issued a draft of the Proposed Interim Release Package 1 to the ITCG (IFRS Taxonomy Consultative Group) for review.  The ITCG is an external committee that supports the Foundation by reviewing draft taxonomies, and 2 comment letters from the ITCG  were received. The Foundation analysed and responded to all comments received and, where appropriate, changes were implemented in the IFRS Taxonomy.
  • 3 April to 2 May 2014 - the IFRS Foundation published the Proposed Interim Release Package 1 for public comment, to which 1 comment letter was received. We considered all of the points raised when developing the Interim Release 1 to the IFRS Taxonomy 2014.  
  • 15 May 2014 - The IFRS Foundation issued Interim Release 1 to the IFRS Taxonomy 2014.
  • 9 July to 1 August 2014 - the IFRS Foundation issued a draft of the Proposed Interim Release Package 2 to the ITCG for review. 10 comment letters from the ITCG were received. The Foundation analysed and responded to all comments received, and where appropriate, changes were implemented in the IFRS Taxonomy.
  • 22 August to 20 October 2014 - the IFRS Foundation published the Proposed Interim Release Package 2 for public comment, to which 2 comments letters were received. We considered all of the points raised when developing the Interim Release 2 to the IFRS Taxonomy 2014.
  • 12 November 2014 - The IFRS Foundation issued Interim Release 2 to the IFRS Taxonomy 2014.
  • 3 December to 16 December 2014 - the IFRS Foundation issued a draft of the Proposed Interim Release Package 3 to the ITCG for review. 4 comment letters from the ITCG were received. The Foundation analysed and responded to all comments received, and where appropriate, changes were implemented in the IFRS Taxonomy.
  • 19 December 2014 to 17 February 2015 - the IFRS Foundation published the Proposed Interim Release Package 3 for public comment, to which no comment letters were received.
  • 11 March 2015 - the final IFRS Taxonomy 2015 was published.
