Dr Lothar Weniger

Dr Lothar Weniger, IFRS Advisory CouncilDr Lothar Weniger is a Consultant at ALIAG AnnieLake Int. Advisers GmbH, a role in which he advises financial institutions, ranging from central banks to small investment banks, on their securities investment operations.

Dr Weniger represents the Corporate Reporting Users Forum (CRUF) on the IFRS Advisory Council. The CRUF aims to help professional investors and analysts across the world in the debate on current and future corporate reporting.

Dr Weniger has more than 20 years of experience in financial markets research in various banks. Prior to his current role, he worked at Dresdner Bank and SBC Warburg, as well as heading Germany’s largest equity research unit at DZ Bank.

He holds an MBA degree in Finance & Accounting from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and a PhD in economics from CA University in Kiel, Germany.
